Software Development Engineer-MSSQL

The SQL Server Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining databases, queries, stored procedures, and other data solutions using Microsoft SQL Server to support business applications and data-driven decision-making.

Experience

• 2 to 5 years Experience
• Specific experience with tools : SSMS, Mysql, dbeaver, Azure DB, Visual Studio

Key Competencies & Skills

Technical Expertise

• Primary: Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• Optional: MySQL, NoSQL databases

Core Skills

• Solid understanding of Database Architecture and Normalization principles
• Strong experience with DDL (Data Definition Language) and DML (Data Manipulation Language)
• Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL development
• Proven track record in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Strong knowledge in MSSQL Core Programming

• Write complex SQL queries from scratch, including development and testing scripts.
• Design and create database objects such as tables, views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions with strong proficiency in MS SQL Server.
• Develop efficient and scalable database structures including tables, views, indexes, and user-defined functions.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance through indexing and query tuning techniques.
• Write and maintain test cases to support internal testing and ensure data accuracy and functionality.
