Contract type: Full time

Silver Acadia Exploration is looking for a Project Geologist to join our growing exploration team and help advance our flagship Nicholas-Denys Project in New Brunswick.

Nicholas-Denys hosts an underexplored epithermal system with impressive high-grade silver and gold mineralization and significant exploration potential. With a 15,000-metre Phase 2 drill program ahead, this is an exciting opportunity for a geologist to take an active role in understanding, testing and advancing a compelling mineral system.

Responsabilities

  • Take an active role in advancing our flagship exploration project, contributing across the full exploration cycle — from geological interpretation and target generation to drilling, core logging, sampling, and follow-up.
  • Integrate and interpret an extensive geological dataset, working closely with our GIS specialist to bring together historical and new drilling, geochemistry, geophysics, mapping, and structural information into an evolving geological model.
  • Play a key role in our upcoming 15,000-metre Phase 2 drill program, working from Silver Acadia’s brand-new core shack and helping turn drill results and observations into the next generation of targets.
  • Grow as an exploration geologist through direct mentorship from our experienced VP Exploration, while being encouraged to bring your own ideas, challenge interpretations, and contribute meaningfully to exploration decisions.
  • Work hands-on with our geologists and field technicians in a small, dynamic team, where responsibilities are diverse, everyone contributes, and we believe serious exploration work should also be fun.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences, recently completed or nearing completion, and available to work full-time; eligible for GIT or Professional Geologist registration in Canada.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage geological information, priorities, and multiple exploration activities.
  • Curious and analytical geological mindset, with a genuine interest in understanding mineral systems, interpreting data, and developing exploration ideas.
  • Hands-on and adaptable, comfortable working between the core shack, office and field, and ready to take ownership as projects evolve.
  • Positive team player with strong communication skills, eager to learn, collaborate and grow professionally within a small, dynamic exploration team.
