Technical Services Manager

MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our cybersecurity client to find a first-class

Technical Services Manager to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to lead and coach the professional services and technical solutions team while driving customer-centric cybersecurity implementations, technical service delivery, and strategic client engagements.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:

• Lead, coach, and support a high-performing professional services and technical solutions team while fostering continuous development.
• Oversee end-to-end technical service delivery, serving as the senior point of contact for key client stakeholders and supporting sales with technical expertise.
• Guide clients through product demonstrations, technical onboarding, system setup, and configuration of advanced cybersecurity solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across diverse operating systems and enterprise IT environments.
• Develop onboarding frameworks, technical documentation, training workshops, and performance metrics to drive client adoption and satisfaction.

You should have the following in your background to apply:

• 5+ years of customer-facing technical support or solutions experience, including at least 3 years managing and leading technical teams.
• Strong hands-on technical expertise deploying and troubleshooting workstations (Linux, Windows, macOS), mobile applications, and enterprise networks.
• Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills across both technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of XDR, scripting, DNS, firewalls, or related cybersecurity infrastructure is an asset, as is French bilingualism.
