Senior HRIS Business Analyst (Workday)

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities Include:

• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Workday, providing guidance on system capabilities, solution design, and best practices.
• Lead the analysis, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Workday functionality.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
• Support Workday enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop reporting, dashboards, and documentation while providing expert-level troubleshooting and user support.
• Coordinate testing activities, validate system changes, and monitor Workday releases to assess business impact.

Qualifications and Pre-Requisites:

• 5+ years of experience supporting, implementing, and optimizing HRIS/HCM platforms.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
• Strong expertise across Workday Core HCM, Talent, Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Payroll.
• Experience with Workday business processes, security, reporting, calculated fields, EIBs, condition rules, and data loads.
• Experience supporting Workday integrations, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Workday certifications are considered an asset.
