Casual Pharmacist - Chief Louis Pharmacy

Purpose of Position
Chief Louis Pharmacy is seeking a Casual Pharmacist to join our team and provide professional pharmacy services in a community pharmacy setting. This role is ideal for a pharmacist seeking a flexible schedule, working approximately every 3rd or 4th Saturday, with the opportunity for additional weekday shifts based on availability and pharmacy needs.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining professional standards, and supporting the efficient operation of the pharmacy. Chief Louis Pharmacy is part of the Sc.wéńwen group of companies, proudly owned by Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc, and is part of the Chief Louis Crossing commercial development.
Key Responsibilities
• Review, assess, and accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients to promote safe and effective medication use
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and pharmacy team members to optimize patient care
• Support clinical pharmacy services and patient care initiatives as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, professional standards, and pharmacy policies
• Assist with inventory management, narcotic controls, and general pharmacy operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-focused environment
Qualifications
• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centred care and professional practice
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Injection certification and prescribing authority are considered assets
Schedule
• Approximately every 2nd or 3rd Saturday
Additional weekday shifts may be available based on pharmacist availability and operational requirements
Compensation: $65/hr
