The role
Reporting to the Director, Global Compensation, the Senior Advisor, Compensation & Data serves as a trusted advisor to the Talent & Culture team, managers, and senior leadership on compensation programs and related processes.
The Senior Advisor, Compensation & Data plays a key role in the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs. They also contribute to the optimization of compensation-related processes within the HRIS. In addition, they are responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to support decision-making, internal equity, and external competitiveness.
The responsibilities
Compensation
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of annual salary review cycles and incentive compensation programs;
- Act as a subject matter expert and advisor to HR Business Partners, managers, and leaders on compensation policies, programs, and practices;
- Conduct compensation analyses, job evaluations, and market studies to support organizational decision-making;
- Participate in the design, update, and continuous improvement of compensation programs, policies, and guidelines;
- Develop and deliver information sessions and training on compensation programs;
- Support internal and external audits related to compensation programs and processes under their responsibility.
HR Data
- Develop and maintain dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reports related to compensation and workforce metrics;
- Ensure the integrity, quality, and consistency of data used in compensation analyses and processes.
HR Systems and Continuous Improvement
- Serve as the primary resource for compensation-related processes and modules within the HRIS;
- Participate in the configuration, testing, implementation, and optimization of compensation-related systems, tools, and processes;
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation, simplification, and continuous process improvement.
The requirements
- University degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline;
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in compensation;
- Demonstrated experience in compensation and data management;
- Experience using and optimizing HR systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong quantitative analytical skills;
- Excellent problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities;
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sound judgment;
- Ability to handle highly confidential information;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
