Marinus Services is seeking a highly organized Labour Dispatch Coordinator to provide remote operational support for marine terminal labour dispatch activities. This role is responsible for coordinating labour scheduling, maintaining dispatch and payroll records, supporting compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements, and ensuring accurate workforce documentation in a fast-paced operational environment.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate daily labour scheduling and workforce assignments.
  • Prepare and maintain gang orders, dispatch records, and labour reports.
  • Review and verify employee timekeeping and payroll information.
  • Support compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements and dispatch procedures.
  • Collaborate with Terminal Operations, Payroll, and Union representatives.
  • Monitor operational changes and assist with labour adjustments as required.
  • Schedule: Daytime work schedule of 4 Days On / 3 Days Off (Supporting a 24/7 Marine Terminal Operation)

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in workforce scheduling, logistics, customer service fields, or operations support.
  • Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with union representatives, operations teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Resilience, professionalism, and composure under pressure, with the ability to handle challenging conversations, changing priorities, and different perspectives effectively.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple schedules, records, and priorities are key requirements for this role.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to travel to the United States within a month from start for training and enculturation.
  • Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Human Resources, or a related discipline is an asset.
  • Equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
