- Competitive wages: $45-$50/hour (negotiable based on experience)

What We’re Looking For:

- We need a reliable, experienced leader who takes pride in their work, communicates effectively, and enjoys teaching the next generation of Tradespeople.

- This role will primarily focus on residential renovations and service upgrades, but will also include commercial projects and multi-family new builds.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Red Seal Electrician Certification

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Strong leadership skills – ability to delegate, mentor, and coordinate teams

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to plan and schedule projects efficiently

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

• Commitment to upholding MXS Electric’s high standards and core values

• Basic tools: work boots, hard hat, hand tools, drill, and impact driver

• Thorough knowledge of 2024 Canadian Electrical Code

Preferred Skills (an asset but not required):

• Occupational First Aid certification

• Experience in project planning, material procurement, and manpower scheduling

• Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety legislation

• Ability to identify and implement cost-saving measures

• Familiarity with various power tools and safe operation

• Indoor & outdoor work in all weather conditions

• Active construction site environment

• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs

• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in attics

• Primarily based in Kamloops, with some work within a one to two hour radius (travel time paid for out of-town jobs)
