About The Role

As a Web Development & SEO Intern at FashionX Magazine, you will support the development, optimization, and performance of our digital platforms.This role offers hands-on experience working across multiple websites within a fashion media environment, contributing to both functionality, user experience, and search visibility

What You’ll Be Working On

• Support the development and maintenance of multiple WordPress-based websites
• Assist in updating content, layouts, and features across platforms
• Improve website performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience
• Implement SEO best practices to enhance visibility and organic growth
• Conduct basic keyword research and support content optimization
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth website functionality
• Manage plugins, themes, and minor customizations
• Assist in maintaining website security, updates, and backups

Requirements

• Experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, basic customization)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and web performance
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
• Interest in digital platforms, design, and user experience

Details

Compensation: Unpaid internship (Academic Credit)

Schedule: Full-time or part-time

Full-time: 35–40 hours/week

Part-time: 20–25 hours/week

Location: Toronto (in-person / hybrid)
