Hiring: Organic Grocery Delivery Driver

Hey there! We're on the lookout for a fantastic individual who can help us bring organic produce and groceries to families all over Ottawa and Gatineau. Our delivery service brings all kinds of fresh, organic fruits, veggies and groceries from over a dozens of local farms – all year round!

As part of our team, you'll get to cruise around in our company-owned cargo vans, bringing joy and healthy goodness to our customers' doorsteps. We're searching for someone who enjoys hitting the road in any weather, rain, snow or shine - and is always ready to bring a smile to customers' faces.

Schedule

We're looking for someone to join our team for approximately 4-8 hours per day, 3-4 days a week (specifically Wednesday-Saturday). This is a year-round position, not just a seasonal job, so we're searching for someone who can commit for the long haul.

Skills

We're looking for a candidate with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a creative flair, and a go-getter attitude. You should be a self-starter who can read maps and navigate with ease. The role involves lifting alot of boxes full of good stuff, so you'll need to be physically fit.

Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. You'll be the face of our company, so customer service skills are a must. If you're bilingual in French and English, that's a bonus, but not essential.

Experience, Education, Training

• A clean driving record is required
• Experience with hand-held Global Positioning System (GPS) units is a plus.
• Interest in organics and our local community.

Certifications/Licenses

Valid Ontario (Full G) driver's license

Compensation

$19.00 per hour to start
