Accounts Receivable Specialist

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing company in Mississauga that’s looking to bring on an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 4-month contract.

This role is a great fit for someone who’s comfortable owning the AR process end-to-end and enjoys digging into details, resolving discrepancies, and keeping things moving.

Location: Mississauga, ON

Work setup: 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home

What you’ll be doing

• Handling day-to-day accounts receivable activities
• Following up on outstanding invoices and building relationships with customers
• Reconciling accounts and investigating any variances
• Supporting month-end close and preparing AR reports
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of hands-on AR experience
• Strong Excel skills (you should be comfortable with things like VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a big plus
• Someone who’s organized, proactive, and able to manage their workload independently
