Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: As a Colour Operations Coordinator, you work closely with the Colourists to help process a complex matrix of coloured raw materials required to complete the Arc’teryx line. In this role, you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of dyeing, colour theory and raw materials Meet your future team: The Colour Operations is a close-knit team of hard-working collaborators. We work cross functinoally with Colour Design, Planning, Materials, Quality and overseas partners to execute lab dips in all raw materials. The Colour Operations team are curious and tenacious problem solvers. We help bring Arc’teryx product to life

If you were the Colour Operations Coordinator now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing today:

    • Establishing and maintaining good vendor relations through communicating our seasonal expectations and vendor manuals
    • Owning a small lab dip portfolio
    • Supporting Colourists in all administrative tasks as required
    • Partnering with vendors and Colourists to track and receive all lab dips
    • Preparing all lab dips for spectrophotometer measurement
    • Calibrating spectrophotometer and measuring lab dips as required
    • Maintaining department resources: spectrophotometer database, training manual, filing systems, and office supplies
    • Learning and growing in the colour environment

Are you our next Colour Operations Coordinator?

    • You have a Textiles or Apparel diploma, or the equivalent experience
    • You have 1+ years of experience in the apparel industry
    • You have superior colour acuity (achieving a score of 16 or better on Munsell colour test)
    • You have a great attitude and a commitment to professional growth; you accept feedback willingly and openly
    • You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills
    • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
    • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
    • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
    • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
